The kids and I went to the ReAL Salt Lake game Saturday. We love the games! The fans are CrAzY and the energy is so fun. It was a colder than we expected for May 26th, so we bundled up...had to take a shot of my silly kiddos.
Megan LoVeS riding her bike. She is determined to lose the training wheels this summer. She loves to stand up "like the racers do" she says--so funny! She was even doing a racing count down--"racers...are you ready? start your engines...3, 2, 1...GO!" OMG--so cute!! The pink gloves are Princess gardening gloves but she wears them as her "racing gloves".
I had so many weeds in the flower bed it was easier to rip it all out and start new. I spent about 2hrs pulling, grading, and plucking. My plans were to spread a carton of wild flower seeds like I usually do, but the kids wanted a garden this year. So--off to Lowe's to buy vegetables they'll never eat and will probably die cause we (let's be honest, My Hubby) will have to water them way too often. So after $60+ of plants (which I could spend less buying the vegetables at the grocery store)...we now have a garden. Megan got bored of digging wholes after this picture. After Landen's bright idea of a garden, he came home ready to plant the garden at about 6:30pm--it was already done!
Our front porch needed a little somethin' to spruce it up...so how about some trees? My Hubby fulfilled my request for Mother's Day and got me the trees--and he has graciously watered them EVERY DAY. I'm so bad at remembering even though I walk past them 2-3xs a day, I forget. Good thing my kids can talk and tell me when they need feeding and watering!! We picked out these cool pots (called acorn) and filled them up with soil...and VOILA!!
Our family was invited to our little friend, Kooyman's, play for his group. It was darling and the kids were really good. Kooyman was cutest carpenter you ever did see and he delivered his line perfectly!!
And that's our weekend wrap up...stay tuned for the next upcoming weekends...we've got A LOT of FUN planned and I need to record it here for memories sake.
