In My Red High Heels...

So...me and my little man went to see Kelly Pickler at the Sandy Ampitheater. He's a great little date and he loves to have a good time so the concert was a lot of fun. Kelly is absolutely gorgeous and a great entertainer. Amazing to see how she has developed (no, I'm not talking about her "new purchases") but from the beginning of American Idol 2 years ago (??) to where she's at now. I love her songs...they are so fun to sing to and I love how real she is.

Charley Jenkins (from Roosevelt, Utah) opened and he was pretty good...although he was the first one kicked off Nashville Star. The lil' gal in the picture (Talia) with Landen is Charley's"fiddlist" (sp?). She's 17, just graduated from PG HS and she was amazing! Landen thought she was "pretty". Hey...I thought you were MY date???

Thanks lil' man! xoxo

Show off Meggie

Grammy bought Megan a new dress at TJ Maxx and a little dolly dress came with it. Today was the day to debut it and wear it to church (she only goes to Sacrament meeting cause her nap time is during RS and Sunday school). "They" looked adorable.

Megan is now 20 months and we are all absolutely amazed at the many things she can do, the things she understands (directions, etc) and especially the words she can say.

RESS Retreat 2008

We had a fabulous time at our 2008 RESS Retreat. RESS stands for Rykert Eccles Smith Stephens. Thanks to Mom and John for providing us a great place to stay in Park City at Westgate. We had fun hanging out at the condo, playing tennis, swimming, playing ping pong, going FAST at alpine slide, the zip line and the coaster (and laughing like I've never laughed before...thank you Janel), lots of YuMmY food (thank you Dustin our personal chef), cousin crafts (thank you Grammy), bubbles (thank you Papa John), playing games and just having fun together.

Thank you for the memories everyone. Enjoy the show!

I betcha thought...

I know, I know...you keep checkin' to see if I've posted anything since about a month ago. I haven't, other than this pathetic apology and excuse of being sooooo busy I just haven't had time.

I have lots of pictures to post and details about all the fun things we've been doing over the past month. Honestly...I don't know where to start.

It's kind of like scrapbooking...I'm already behind 1 year and 8 months on Megan...not one page...not one!!! I'm 2 years behind on Landen!! So...please give me a moment...I promise I will catch up to all you crazy bloggers and be right back in the game. Love ya!
