Exciting week in our house!

First off, David & Kirbie's wedding was PeRfEcT (which deserves it's own post and a pluthera of pictures and details).

Now what do I do with all my "extra time"?!?

j/k...soccer is starting and school starts soon, too.

BUT...something Landen has been waiting for since August of 2010...he got his braces off!! Yeah! He basically smiles ear to ear now with these pearly whites.

He has a retainer he has to wear 24/7 for 2 months (he got Invisalign!!). So proud of him for being so diligent in wearing his bands so he could get them off as scheduled. He's one handsome looking kid (not that he wasn't before, right?).

 Miss Megan started piano lessons! She has the same teacher as Landen, lucky enough. We love Annette! Here's to more things to get after the kids for, along with chores, homework and just plain 'ol getting along with each other. We'll see how long she lasts. She loves it, but gets a little squirmy sitting still in one place.

 It's been a little tricky keeping this kiddo busy this summer. But we're on the home stretch to school starting (which he is so excited about)!! I follow a blogger who posted about her kids taking a cooking class...ding...the light bulb went on. So I checked it out and signed the kiddo up. This week he went 3hrs on T/W/Th for "Chocolate Week". He loved it (and so did I). The chefs loved him and he enjoyed doing something different and learning. Here's to some yummy desserts!!
